The journey began in 1941, when brothers Otto and Mindor Hjellegjerde started producing furniture in the cellar of their family home in Sykkylven, a picturesque fjord village in Møre and Romsdal, Norway. What started as a small-scale effort was fueled by determination and craftsmanship.
